2018年11月14日 上海 (KUBECON + CLOUDNATIVECON CHINA) – The Linux Foundation傘下で人工知能 (AI)、マシン ラーニング (ML)、ディープ ラーニング (DL) 分野のオープンソース イノベーションを支援する LF Deep Learning Foundationは、Acumos AIプロジェクト初のソフトウェア リリース「Athena」を発表しました。

Acumos AIは、AIアプリケーションの構築、共有、デプロイを容易にするプラットフォームでオープンソース フレームワークです。Acumos AIは、すぐに使用できる一般的なAI環境を運用するために必要なインフラストラクチャ スタックとコンポーネントを標準化します。これによりデータ サイエンティストやモデル トレーナーは、コアコンピテンシーに集中しイノベーションを加速させることができます。

The Linux Foundationの戦略企画シニア ディレクターであるScott Nicholasは、次のように述べています。

Athenaの主な特長は以下の通りです。

  • パブリック / プライベート クラウド インフラストラクチャ、またはサーバーや仮想マシンなどユーザー独自のハードウェア上にあKubernetes環境内にモデルをデプロイする機能
  • デザイン スタジオ : 複数のモデル、データ変換ツール、フィルター、出力アダプターを完全なエンドツーエンド ソリューションに統合するためのグラフィカル インターフェース
  • セキュリティ トークンを使用し、外部ツールキットから直接Acumos AIリポジトリへのシンプルなモデル搭載が可能
  • マイクロサービス ジェネレーションをモデル搭載プロセスから切り離し、異なる環境やハードウェアでモデルを再使用
  • テーマやモデル作成者データによりマーケット プレイス ビューをパーソナル化でき、プライベート / パブリックにモデルやユーザー体験の改善点を共有できる先進的なユーザー ポータル

これら全ての機能はAcumos AI アプリケーションのデプロイと共有を迅速かつ容易に開始するためにデザインされています。

Acumos AI これからの予定

Acumos AIの開発者コミュニティは2019年中旬に予定している次のリリースに向けた開発に着手しており、モデルの柔軟性を高めるデータ抽出パイプラインだけではなく便利なモデル トレーニングを導入します。さらに、次のリリースでは、セキュアで信頼性の高いライセンス コンポーネントを含むクローズドソース モデル開発者が、コミュニティ全体に実行制御と性能フィードバックを提供するための更新機能を入れる予定です。
