The Linux Foundation Announces Keynote Speakers for Apache: Big Data Europe

Leading open source technologists from Cloudera, Hortonworks and Uber to speak at Europe’s leading technical open data event

SAN FRANCISCO, September 29, 2016 – The Linux Foundation, the nonprofit organization enabling mass innovation through open source, today announced the keynote speakers and program for Apache: Big Data, taking place November 14-16 in Seville, Spain.

The Linux Foundation events are where the world’s leading technologists meet, collaborate, learn and network in order to advance innovations that support the world’s largest shared technologies.

Apache: Big Data Europe gathers the Apache® projects, people and technologies working in Big Data, ubiquitous computing and data engineering and science to educate, collaborate and connect in a completely project-neutral environment; it is the only event that brings together the full suite of Big Data open source projects including Apache Hadoop, Cassandra, CouchDB, Spark and more. The event will feature over 100 sessions covering the issues, technologies, techniques and best practices that are shaping the data ecosystem across a wide range of industries including finance, business, manufacturing, government and academia, media, energy and retail.
