OPNFV検証プログラムを発表 – 商用NFV製品の導入を簡素化

2018年2月6日サンフランシスコ発 – インテグレーション・デプロイメント・テストを通してさまざまなオープンソース エコシステムにおけるNFV(Network Functions Virtualization)コンポーネントの開発と進化を促進するThe Linux Foundation内のオープンソース プロジェクトOPNFVは、OPNFV Verifiedプログラム(OVP:OPNFV検証プログラム)のリリースを発表しました。商用NFV製品の導入を簡素化にするように設計されたOVPは、OPNFVの機能とテスト ケースに基づき業界の基準を定めています。新しいランディング ページにプログラムの詳細・メリットが説明されており、ユーザーはOPNFV Verifiedポータルからプログラムに参加できます。

ネットワーク事業者を含むOPNFVメンバー企業は、フレームワークを確立するために緊密に協力し、事業者がPOCおよびRFPの参加基準を確立するのに役立つ最初の機能一式が決定しました。OVPはベンダーのセルフ テストとサードパーティのラボ テストの両方を容易にします。初期バージョンでは、NFVI、VIM、クラウド基盤、パケット転送、IPv6、VPNを含むNFVインフラストラクチャのコンポーネントと機能をテストし検証します。プログラムには今後より多くの機能とテスト ケースが追加され、テスト スイートを継続的にリリースし、将来的にVNFやその他のコンポーネントを追加するための拡張を見込むなど、時間の経過と共に進化していきます。

ベータ プログラム時に早期参入したいくつかのベンダーが、プログラムの改良と仕上げを支援する有益なフィードバックを提供しました。これらの企業であるHuawei、Nokia、Wind River、ZTEは、OPNFV Verifiedマーク・ロゴを使用する権利を与えられた最初のメンバーです。

事業者はOVPをRFPプロセス / トライアルに組み入れるだけではなく、ユース ケースや機能要件を共有するなどプログラムに自由に参加できます。ベンダーは商用製品のコンプライアンス テスト向けに適合するフレームワークをダウンロードすることができます。

Huawei

Wind River

ZTE
